Vehicle wraps are printed vinyl decals which cover all or a portion of a car’s body panels – even glass. This allows decals to be quickly affixed over top of a vehicle’s paint job.
The cost of a car wrap will depend on the size of the surface to be covered in vinyl decal. A full car wrap will run in the thousands, perhaps between $2000-$6000. Smaller surfaces can be covered for less, but to achieve a professional-quality result, realize that the process does require a workable budget. Also realize that the size of the vehicle, among other factors, will affect overall cost. Larger vehicles cost more, etc. Contact our sales team for exact pricing.
Partial decals are available – contact our team to learn details and for current pricing.
Certainly. A wrapped car can be washed by hand or go through a car wash, though washing by hand is gentler and will reduce the risk of lifting edges or scratching the material the decal is printed on.
High quality vehicle wraps will retain their color over their life span. If you’ve got any problems with your wrap, know that NW Signs stands behind the products and installation that comprise their Springdale custom printing services.
The material vehicle wraps are printed on does have a limited life span. If treated well, a car wrap will last somewhere in the range of 5 years before needing replaced. This time span can be altered based on factors such as sun exposure. Five years is a good length of time for a car wrap. At the end of that time, there’s a good chance you’ll want to update your branding or even your vehicles anyway.
It is often – though not always – possible to carefully remove vehicle wraps without damage to the underlying paint. A new decal may be able to be applied in its place. Removing a decal which has been there a while will reveal a difference in tone between underlying paint and paint that has been exposed to the elements, just like removing a sticker that’s been applied to any surface for a while. In that sense, a car wrap can actually preserve your vehicle’s paint.
Owners can apply a car decal on their own, and there is a chance that this will turn out well with patience and a steady hand. Owners will still need to have their decals printed using special equipment, and we know that experience makes a big difference in the final outcome. With any luck, your Springdale car wrap is going to last for years – make sure it’s applied right by going with the experienced team at NW Signs.
