What are wall decals?

Wall decals are graphics which are printed on adhesive vinyl, which is then applied to a wall. While adhesive-backed vinyl sheets are available and can often be printed on using (primarily) inkjet printers, these will not achieve the same level of results as a specialty machine like the ones we use at NW Signs.

Do I need you provide you with a design or can you make your own?

We are happy to work with our customers no matter where you are in the design process. If you already have the perfect design, if you’d like to work with someone to fine-tune an idea, or if you just know you need something new for your walls, our Wood Village custom printing services team can come alongside you.

What is the difference between a wall decal and a wall sticker?

Though technically there is a difference (decals are transferred while stickers are stuck), our wall decals will seem like wall stickers in the sense that they are printed and then affixed to your surface. Don’t worry, they are quite a bit more grown-up and durable than kids’ stickers. If you call a decal a sticker, we won’t get on your case.

Do you apply wall decals?

It takes some experience to be able to perfectly apply the adhesive vinyl of a wall wrap. At NW Signs & Apparel, we take care of your wall decals from design to application to make sure you get exactly what you need.

Can you cover an entire wall with a decal?

Typically, we would call such a decal a wall wrap – and yes, we can. A full wall wrap is kind of like a custom wallpaper. A wall wrap makes a space look professional and like new from corner-to-corner. The solution is long-lasting, durable, and a good value when compared with hiring a painter.

Do wall wraps damage walls?

In most cases, wall decals can be carefully removed without causing damage. The key word is “carefully.”

What are wall wraps? Is there a difference between a wall wrap and a decal?

A wall wrap is essentially a wall decal or sticker that covers or wraps an entire surface. So in substance, there is no difference. Both will create a great mural effect for your space. The difference is merely in size, and the terms can be used interchangeably.
